Job summary

Cross Manufacturing Ltd seeks a Customer Account Associate reporting to the Sales & Business Development Manager. You will handle customer enquiries, prepare quotes, process orders and monitor parts through WIP, notifying the relevant Director for feedback to customers.

You will collaborate with quality, planning and design to ensure orders can commence manufacture. Within the Sales team you will provide excellent customer service, manage expectations and support other departments.

• Must be proactive and conscientious with flexibility to meet targets.
• Ability to navigate SharePoint, D365, Outlook and Excel; handle data-heavy files and customer demand schedules.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work under pressure and manage customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries, sharing with the relevant director and departments (new parts, drawing issues, updated specs).
• Create quotes and process orders.
• Monitor progress and report to directors/production planning; relay updates to customer.
• Allocate parts when in stock to trigger despatch.
• Be the main contact for customers and filter information to other departments.
• Support departments for tasks requested by customers (environmental requests, material issues, capacity reviews).
