Job summary

Gpw Recruitment is seeking a Customer Account Administrator for a well-established manufacturing organisation in West Lancashire. You will act as the main contact for a portfolio of customers, manage the order process from enquiry to delivery, and ensure a high level of service throughout.

You will handle SAP-based order processing, coordinate with logistics and planning teams, monitor deliveries, resolve issues promptly and maintain accurate customer data while building strong ongoing

Qualifications

• Previous customer service or customer account experience.
• Strong order processing / order management experience.
• Experience using SAP is essential.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• The ability to prioritise a busy workload.
• Confidence liaising with customers and internal departments.
• A proactive approach to resolving customer and delivery issues.
• Strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing customer accounts and acting as a main point of contact.
• Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Coordinating customer requirements with internal departments.
• Monitoring orders and ensuring deliveries are made within agreed timescales.
• Liaising with logistics, planning, sales and distribution teams.
• Handling customer queries, delivery issues, complaints and claims.
• Maintaining accurate customer and delivery information.
• Providing regular updates to customers regarding order and delivery status.
• Producing relevant order and claims documentation.
• Identifying issues quickly and ensuring they are resolved efficiently.
• Supporting strong ongoing relationships with customers.
