Distinct Consultancy in Appley Bridge is seeking a proactive Sales Administrator to manage end-to-end order processes, coordinate deliveries, and answer customer queries while working closely with suppliers and internal teams for a seamless customer experience.

The role focuses on processing orders, stock monitoring, and providing exceptional service, with hybrid working after probation and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Highly organised and motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and taking ownership through to resolution

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders and quotes efficiently and accurately
• Answer telephone calls professionally and courteously
• Manage direct shipments from suppliers to customers
• Place orders with internal and external suppliers and arrange timely deliveries
• Monitor stock levels in line with customer demand and supplier lead times
• Proactively communicate with customers regarding order progress and any issues
• Manage customer expectations and provide excellent customer service throughout the order process
• Handle invoice queries and raise credit notes where necessary
• Support different operational areas, including Specification, Key Accounts, Merchant & Distribution, as required
