Job summary

Morgan Jones Recruitment Consultants is seeking a professional Customer Account Coordinator to join the busy Customer Services team in Whitstable. The role focuses on managing customer enquiries, preparing quotations, and processing orders to ensure a seamless service from enquiry through to delivery.

Initially, the role is fully office-based during probation with potential hybrid working later, three days in the office and Mondays and Fridays from home.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or sales support environments.
• Ability to manage quotations and orders.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confident with pricing and quotations.
• Experience in manufacturing/engineering environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process quotations and sales orders in line with KPIs.
• Build strong customer relationships and provide outstanding service.
• Prepare accurate quotations, pricing, and lead times.
• Follow up quotations and support order conversion.
• Monitor orders through to shipment and delivery.
• Communicate with customers throughout the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with internal departments (Commercial, Procurement, Product Management).
• Investigate and escalate customer complaints when needed.
• Identify cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
• Support Business Development Managers with customer data.
• Maintain accurate records in company systems.
