Job summary

Seetec is recruiting for a Custody Support Worker within the CFO Evolution Team at HMP Erlestoke. You will support a caseload of participants from engagement through reintegration, using one-to-one and group interventions with a strong focus on pre-release planning.

Desirable experience includes probation, social care with vulnerable groups, or custody settings. The role includes a salary of £25,877-£29,000 per annum with benefits and opportunities to contribute to desistance from offending.

Qualifications

• IAG Level 3 qualification is desirable.
• Experience managing a caseload is desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and sustain engagement of individuals.

Responsibilities

• Meet individual performance targets and contribute to team targets.
• Collaborate with mentors to manage caseload and connect participants with housing, health, and well-being resources.
• Foster a learning environment and share best practices within the team.
• Ensure effective case management with safeguarding of adults and children; notify concerns to Probation Service.
• Meet all contractual targets.
