A social support organization is looking for a dedicated individual to join their Offender Management unit based at HMP Thameside. This full-time position offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of individuals. Candidates should be proactive in managing caseloads and work well under pressure. An understanding of rehabilitation and professional boundaries with vulnerable people is essential. This permanent role requires a commitment to supporting service users reintegrating into the community.

In HMP Thameside Catch22 provides Offender Management services and support for adult male prisoners from entry to prison right through to their transition back into community life.
This is a full‑time prison/office based role. There is the option for compressed hours on a 4 day week, or 9 day fortnight if deemed appropriate. This is not a hybrid/remote role.
An exciting opportunity to work for the Offender Management unit (OMU) at HMP Thameside, the only OMU in the country delivered by a third sector organisation since its opening in 2012. Following a recent Prison inspection, Charlie Taylor (HM Chief Inspector of Prisons) described this service to be "the best provision (he) had seen during the last year".
We are seeking a driven individual who strives for best practice and is passionate in making a difference to people’s lives. In this role you will have the opportunity to be part of a high performing Offender Management Service with its function to identify, assess, address and reduce risks of sentenced prisoners, whilst also motivating them to engage positively within the custodial regime.
