Senior Sous Chef | Full Time

The Role |

As a Senior Sous Chef, you will be an inspirational leader, creating a positive environment for your team and guests. You will support in coaching and developing your team to reach their potential while driving restaurant performance and delivering excellent results.

What You Will Do |

  • Create a caring and supportive environment, celebrating successes and nurturing talent within your team.
  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards in food preparation and safety.
  • Manage kitchen standards, including health and safety, and understand financial performance metrics like gross profit, stock control, and labor costs.
  • Foster a coaching culture, working with your head chef on recruitment and ongoing development.
  • Be a proactive problem solver, making quick and effective decisions.

What We Look For |

  • Experience leading a kitchen team as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with a focus on consideration and support.
  • Proven ability to maintain high standards in food safety and safety regulations.
  • Understanding of kitchen financials, including gross profit and stock management.
  • Experience managing labor costs and adapting to changing demands.
  • Leadership qualities that inspire and engage teams, fostering an inclusive environment.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet.
