Job summary

Hamilton Barnes is seeking a UC Engineer to join a Gloucestershire team on an initial 3-month contract. You will deploy and support network voice solutions, configure and maintain Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), and support Cisco routing and switching, including BGP and OSPF, with some Teams support.

You must hold active NPPV3 clearance, be able to work on site two days a week, and help diagnose faults across voice and network infra while keeping documentation up to date.

Qualifications

• Active NPPV3 clearance is essential.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Unified Call Manager (CUCM).
• Experience deploying and supporting network voice; good knowledge of Cisco routing and switching (BGP/OSPF).
• Some experience supporting Microsoft Teams; on-site Gloucestershire location two days a week.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and support network voice solutions.
• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot CUCM.
• Support Cisco routing and switching (BGP/OSPF).
• Provide Microsoft Teams support for users and voice services.
• Diagnose and resolve faults across voice and network infrastructure.
• Keep documentation up to date with the wider infrastructure team.
