Job summary

Hunter Selection is recruiting a Voice & Network Engineer in Gloucester to join an established infrastructure team on a hybrid basis. You will support voice and network technologies across a multi-site environment, handling installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and optimisation of critical communications.

The role focuses on voice technologies (CUCM, UCCE, SIP) and network infrastructure, with on-call duties and collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.

• Experience supporting both voice and networking environments.

• Experience using network monitoring and management tools.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently whilst also collaborating effectively with wider technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and maintaining voice and network infrastructure across multiple sites.
• Investigating, diagnosing, and resolving network and telephony issues.
• Installing, configuring, and upgrading network and communications hardware and software.
• Managing system backups and supporting disaster recovery processes.
• Monitoring network performance and producing operational reports.
• Supporting LAN, WAN, SIP and unified communications environments.
• Working closely with suppliers, stakeholders, and internal technology teams to resolve issues and deliver improvements.
• Participating in an on-call rota to support business-critical services.
