Lyreco, the European leader in workplace solutions, is seeking a Credit Controller for its Telford head office. You will manage an assigned portfolio of customer accounts, proactively collect overdue balances, and build strong relationships with customers while collaborating with internal teams to resolve queries.

The role requires solid credit control experience, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a proactive, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Previous credit control experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good negotiation skills and the confidence to have effective conversations with customers.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Good analytical and numerical skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsabilités

• Managing an assigned portfolio of customer accounts and proactively collecting overdue balances.
• Making outbound contact with customers and working towards agreed targets and KPIs.
• Building positive relationships with customers and understanding any issues preventing payment.
• Working with internal teams to help resolve service or account queries quickly and effectively.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of collection activity.
• Working closely with the Sales team to support effective account management.
• Helping to minimise bad debt and improve collection performance.
