Bidvest Noonan is seeking a Senior Credit Controller to join our shared services team in Greater London. You will own the ledger, drive cash collection, resolve queries, and support multiple business units in keeping customer balances within terms.

You will manage a 400-account ledger, prepare reports, issue reminders, and liaise with departments to close invoices and maintain data accuracy. This role requires strong Excel skills and Unit4 experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role.

Responsabilités

• Ensure timely cash collection of all outstanding payments and minimise AR balance.
• Manage a ledger of 400 key accounts.
• Assist with all aspects of the credit function.
• Perform account reconciliations and statement processing.
• Run daily and weekly reports.
• Issue reminders and follow up payments via phone and email.
• Take appropriate action for customers who miss terms (7 days notice, LBA's).
• Send copy invoices and statements; manage customer queries.
• Liaise with other departments to resolve queries and close invoices.
• Administer client invoices via portals as required.
• Assist in obtaining purchase orders and issuing updated invoices.
• Maintain full ledger management and customer data accuracy.
• Maintain strong client relationships and attend client meetings when required.

We are looking for a Senior Credit Controller to join our shared services team, you'll be someone who has a proven background within credit control. We are looking for a strong record of collecting cash from a high volume of creditors using effective and efficient methods, taking full ownership of your ledger, with a focus on resolving queries and minimising debt.

You will be responsible for ensuring customer balances remain within account terms and support the wider business units with query resolution.

Key Accountabilities

• To ensure timely cash collection of all outstanding payments - minimising the AR outstanding balance whilst reducing DSO
• Manage a ledger of 400 key accounts
• To assist with all aspects of the credit function
• Account reconciliations and statement processing
• Run daily and weekly reports.
• Issuing reminders and follow up for payments, chasing overdue invoices via the telephone and email
• Arrange appropriate action for customers who do not pay to terms - following company policy - 7 Days notice, LBA’s.
• Sending out copy invoices, statements and managing customer queries
• Liaise with other departments around the business to resolve queries and close invoices
• Administering client invoices via the customer portals where required
• Assist in obtaining purchase orders from customers and issuing updated invoices
• Full Ledger management and maintenance, ensuring customer details are kept up to date
• Maintain good client relationships, attend client meetings when required

Experience & skills required

• Do you have a min 3 years’ experience in similar role?
• Do you have intermediate Excel and IT skills, competent use of Pivot and Vlookups?
• Do you have knowledge of Unit4 Business?
