Job summary

Tower Supplies is seeking a dedicated Credit Controller to join the office-based Cruise Finance team in a permanent role. The position is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with reporting lines into the Finance Team Lead.

You will manage and control debts, review creditworthiness, and prioritise collections to maximise cash flow while maintaining high standards of customer service and accuracy in invoicing and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control and debt recovery
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Excellent communication with customers and internal teams

Responsibilities

• Act as main point of contact for customer account queries
• Reconciliation, managing customer portals and integration (EDI)
• Review new and existing accounts for creditworthiness and set terms/limits
• Manage and collect customer accounts to maximise cash flow and minimise bad debts
• Resolve invoice and payment queries promptly
• Produce and distribute customer statements of account and overdue letters
• Produce weekly and ad hoc reports on stop, credit hold status and other metrics
• Proactively manage new accounts and high value invoices
• Build relationships with customers and internal contacts
• Prepare month end consolidated invoices
• Escalate significant issues as necessary
