Job summary

RECFinancial is assisting an established client to recruit a Part-Time Credit Controller to join a stable finance team. Working 22.5 hours per week, three full days, on a permanent basis.

The Credit Controller will manage the ledger, ensure timely cash collection, resolve aged debt, and work with internal teams to optimise cash flow. Strong Excel and finance system skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control and accounts receivable.
• Confident communicator able to handle queries professionally.
• Highly organised with strong time management.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Experience in a fast-paced finance environment.
• Detail-oriented with good accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Monitor aged debt and ensure timely collection.
• Chase overdue invoices by phone and email.
• Raise invoices, issue statements and credit notes.
• Post and allocate customer payments.
• Set up and maintain customer accounts in ledger.
• Investigate and resolve payment/invoice queries.
• Reconcile customer accounts and payments.
• Assist with monthly and year-end accounts.
• Liaise with teams to assess creditworthiness.
• Build strong relationships with customers to support credit control.
• Support wider finance team with admin duties.
