Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd is seeking a Credit Controller to join our office-based Cruise Finance team. You will manage customer accounts, chase invoices and monitor credit limits to safeguard cash flow and minimise bad debt.

You will review creditworthiness, set appropriate terms, reconcile accounts, and liaise with customers and internal teams to resolve queries promptly and maintain strong relationships across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control and debt collection.
• Ability to review accounts for creditworthiness and set terms, using references.
• Strong communication with customers and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as main contact for customer account queries.
• Reconciliation, managing customer portals and integration (EDI).
• Review new and existing accounts for creditworthiness and set terms and limits.
• Manage and collect customer accounts to maximise cash flow and minimise risk.
• Resolve invoice and payment queries promptly and efficiently.
• Produce and distribute customer statements of account and overdue letters.
• Generate weekly and ad hoc reports on credit hold status and other metrics.
• Proactively manage new accounts and high value invoices.
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal contacts.
• Prepare month end consolidated invoices and escalate issues as needed.
