Job summary

We’re recruiting for a Credit Controller to join the Finance team of a leading firm based in Liverpool. This role offers the chance to own a portfolio of client accounts, improve cash flow and reduce aged debt in a supportive team environment.

You will build relationships with clients, partners and internal teams, chase outstanding invoices, monitor aged debt targets and contribute to reporting and projects using strong Excel and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ credit control experience.
• Experience within legal or professional services.
• Confident communicating with clients and senior stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Good Excel and Microsoft Office knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Building relationships with clients, Partners and internal teams.
• Resolving billing and payment queries.
• Monitoring aged debt and cash collection targets.
• Keeping finance systems and records accurate and up to date.
• Supporting the wider Finance team with reporting and projects.
• Managing and chasing outstanding client invoices.
