Job Summary

We’re looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Credit Controller to join our UK Accounts Receivable team on a 3‑month fixed term contract. You’ll play a key role in ensuring timely customer payments within our Agri Food Business Unit. This position is based in Aylesbury with hybrid working. It’s the ideal role for someone with strong communication skills and a hands‑on approach to credit control. The salary for this role is £27,000.

About The Role
  • Manage the shared mailbox, responding promptly to customer queries regarding invoices and payments
  • Make proactive debt‑chasing calls, logging all activity in our Debt Tracker tool
  • Issue copy invoices and follow up on overdue accounts
  • Escalate unresolved issues to relevant departments or external debt collection agencies
  • Cleanse and update customer account data to improve invoice accuracy and statement delivery
  • Support the month‑end close by ensuring receivables are correctly recorded and matched
  • Collaborate with business unit manager to identify specific projects or accounts requiring focused collection efforts

  • 3 Month Fixed Term Contract
  • £27,000 per annum
