Job summary

Pure Resourcing Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Credit Controller near Acle, Norfolk with a hybrid working pattern. The role is 3 days on site, 2 days working from home, hours 9-5, Monday to Friday. You will manage customer accounts, chase overdue payments, post and allocate payments, and resolve invoice issues.

The ideal candidate will have strong debt collection skills, excellent communication, and proficiency in Excel and Office.

Qualifications

• Experience in credit control or collections.
• Strong debt-collection and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good attention to detail with numerical and analytical abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and collect outstanding debt.
• Chase overdue payments via phone, email, and written correspondence.
• Monitor aged debt and escalate high-risk accounts.
• Post and allocate incoming payments and reconcile customer accounts.
• Respond to customer queries and maintain accurate account records.
• Send statements, reminders and payment links and liaise with internal teams to resolve issues.

The role:

• Managing a portfolio of customer accounts and collecting outstanding debt.

• Posting and allocating incoming payments.
• Reconciling customer accounts and resolving payment discrepancies.
• Handling customer queries and maintaining accurate account records.
• Sending statements, reminders and payment links.
• Working with internal teams to resolve invoice and payment issues.

About You:

• Previous experience in a Credit Control position.
• Strong debt collection and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Good attention to detail with strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and the wider Microsoft Office suite.
• Well organised, able to manage multiple priorities and work independently or as part of a team.
