Overview

Are you passionate about building strong customer relationships while ensuring smooth financial operations? We’re looking for a Credit Collections Specialist to join our dynamic EMEA team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of credit and collections activities, ensuring timely invoice payments and maintaining accurate account records.

You’ll work closely with customers and internal teams to resolve queries and keep processes running smoothly, acting as the key point of contact for collections in your region to keep everything running seamlessly.

Responsibilities
  • Review the debtor ledger and prioritise collection activities to ensure timely payment of invoices.
  • Send monthly statements and payment reminders via phone and email.
  • Build positive customer relationships by resolving invoice queries professionally and promptly.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Service teams to support credit and collection processes.
  • Work with Accountants to reconcile accounts and minimise unallocated receipts.
  • Maintain accurate records of credit transactions, customer interactions, and payment histories.
  • Act as the first point of contact for collections activities within your assigned region.
  • Perform other duties as required to support the credit function.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Credit Collections within a commercial environment.
  • CICM qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good understanding of industry practices, economic environments, company policies, and regional laws.
  • Experience with vendor program structures in sales or credit underwriting.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate situations and apply sound judgment.
