Job Title: Creative Producer - Events

Location: London, hybrid

Division: Merlin Magic Making - Creative

Reports to: Creative Studio Manager

Type: Permanent

Bring Joy. Create Connections. Make Memories.

At Merlin Entertainments, we’re on a mission to be the global leader in branded entertainment destinations and the greatest place to work and play.

From LEGOLAND® to the London Eye, SEA LIFE to Madame Tussauds, Merlin Magic Making is the heartbeat of our attractions, where world‑class ideas are imagined, designed and brought to life.

We’re now searching for an exceptional Creative Producer with a passion for live events and immersive experiences to join our newly formed Events Team. You’ll help shape unforgettable moments across some of Merlin’s most iconic attractions, working with beloved global IPs and creating sharable, guest‑first experiences that surprise and delight.

About the Role

As Creative Producer, you’ll be at the heart of the projects, supporting the creative development and execution of standout seasonal events and brand activations, from the very first spark of an idea through to on‑site delivery. You’ll be the critical bridge between creative vision and operational excellence, making sure everything is on‑brand, on‑brief, on‑time and on‑budget.

This is a hands‑on, high‑impact role that will see you working across teams, countries and creative disciplines, collaborating with internal stakeholders, global IP partners and external suppliers to bring bold ideas to life.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Work closely with Creative Leads to bring your team and project management skills to a series of exciting global briefs.
  • You will confidently bring order and process to complex projects that need a highly competent "Production first" mindset.
  • Collaborate closely with Ops, Marketing, Delivery and Creative teams to align project goals and workstreams.
  • Own the Creative team timeline and always keep an eye on master project milestones, ensuring the right activity, with the right people, in the right order, is planned and communicated throughout the process.
  • Use your production and planning expertise to guide decisions promptly and find solutions to challenges.
  • Work with stakeholders to proactively identify the needs of the project, ensuring these are communicated to the Creative team and embedded in workflows.
  • Ensure best practice "ways of working" are upheld with creative project teams such as file sharing, meeting cadence and agreed action lists.
  • Translate concepts into physical experiences, supervising art direction and ensuring high‑quality delivery.
  • Support the sourcing and onboarding of third‑party suppliers, managing vendors including AV, fabrication and performance partners.
  • Support international site visits, ensuring consistency across attractions (planning and possible attendance).
  • Present to senior stakeholders and IP partners, keeping everyone aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Propose new ideas and improvements, ensuring we learn and evolve with each event, finding best practice "ways of working".
  • Ensure creative work complies with brand, safety and operational guidelines.
Qualifications & Experience
  • A strong track record of producing high‑quality, guest‑centric events (agency and/or in‑house experience).
  • Experience in live shows, interactive tech, AV and themed environments.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent leadership qualities such as delegating tasks, directing teams, corralling multiple colleagues and stakeholders to collaborate as needed.
  • Competent with project management software such as Smartsheets or equivalent.
  • Strong commercial awareness, including budget management and supplier negotiations.
  • No required, but a bonus is proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and understanding of technical drawings.
  • Ability to travel internationally as needed.
  • A collaborative, can‑do spirit with a knack for inspiring teams and partners.
What We’re Looking For
  • A visionary creative producer who can translate bold ideas into real‑world experiences.
  • A confident project and budget manager with exceptional organisational skills.
  • A brilliant communicator, relationship‑builder and team player.
  • Someone who’s passionate about creating joy, connecting people and making memories that last.
Why Merlin?

You’ll be joining a company where imagination runs wild, and creativity powers everything we do. You’ll get to work on projects that reach millions of guests globally and you’ll do it as part of a supportive, energetic team that loves what they do.
