Job summary

Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join the Creative team at Berkshire College of Agriculture in Maidenhead. The role is full time, term-time only, 37 hours weekly across 37 term-time weeks per year, with pro rata salary scales from £21,166.19 to £22,662.10 (G17–G19).

Qualifications

• Essential qualifications include Level 2 qualifications, such as GCSE Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent), in both English and Mathematics.
• Candidates should be flexible and willing to adapt to varying needs, including supporting online learning or providing physical assistance to students with mobility needs.
• Must be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people, adhering to college policies on safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion, health and safety, data protection and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, delivery and review of learning activities.
• Support whole classes, small groups or individual students in line with policies and EHCPs.
• Monitor student behaviour and maintain confidential records.
• Assist with assignments, exam preparation and development of essential English, mathematics and ICT skills.
