Job summary

Thomas Franks is seeking an Executive Chef Manager for our Tonbridge location. The role is term-time only, 40 weeks per year, with a 40-hour week and a salary of £45,000 per annum.

You will lead a fast-paced kitchen at head chef level, creating seasonal menus, managing food production and service to high standards, and ensuring hygiene and health and safety compliance. Monday to Friday work pattern.

Qualifications

• Hold a recognised cooking qualification such as City & Guild 706/1 & 2 or equivalent.
• Experience at Head Chef level within contract catering or independent education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and control food production and service to high standards.
• Ensure Fresh Food standards and local, seasonal produce usage.
• Plan menus for nutritional value and events.
• Ensure prompt service and stock replenishment during service.
• Maintain hygienic production areas and comply with food safety regulations.
• Attend meetings and training as required.
