Job summary

Thomas Franks Ltd. is seeking an Executive Chef Manager for a prestigious Tonbridge location. This term-time role runs 40 weeks per year, with a 40-hour week and a salary of £45,000 per annum.

You will lead a fast-paced kitchen, create seasonal menus, ensure high standards of food safety and hygiene, and manage staff. Prior contract catering or independent education experience preferred; DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Experience as Head Chef in fast-paced kitchens.
• Experience in contract catering or independent education.
• City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or equivalent cooking qualification.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor food production to high standards.
• Ensure use of fresh, local, seasonal produce.
• Plan menus for nutrition and events.
• Manage service and stock during shifts.
• Maintain hygienic areas and comply with health and safety.
