Thomas Franks is seeking a Chef De Partie in Winchester to join a fast-paced, quality-focused kitchen providing meals to pupils and staff. You will cook from scratch with seasonal ingredients, follow brand standards and contribute to a high-standard, well-organised service.

We are looking for a creative cook with a passion for great food, attention to detail and the ability to manage food cost and wastage. This role offers 52-week contracts with term-time flexibility.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen at CDP or junior sous chef level.
• Ability to work with fresh seasonal ingredients and menus.
• Creative and skilled in showcasing culinary talent.
• Understanding of food cost and wastage management.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team providing catering services to pupils and teachers.
• Prepare food from scratch using fresh ingredients following brand standards.
• Ensure food hygiene, safety policies and allergen controls are followed.
• Minimise wastage and maintain high quality throughout service.
