Job summary

Thomas Franks in Ascot is seeking a Chef De Partie to join our busy kitchen, serving a Catholic day school community with fresh, seasonal ingredients and bespoke menus. You will work on a fast-paced pass, producing dishes from scratch and maintaining brand standards.

You will collaborate with a team of chefs, ensure food hygiene and allergen controls, and contribute to cost management and waste reduction. The role requires previous CDP or junior sous chef experience and a passion for quality

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast‑paced kitchen at CDP or junior sous chef level.
• Ability to work with fresh seasonal ingredients and bespoke menus.
• Commitment to high food hygiene and allergen controls.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a kitchen team to deliver meals for pupils and staff.
• Produce food from scratch following brand standards and using fresh ingredients.
• Ensure food hygiene and health & safety policies are followed and wastage is controlled.
