Thomas Franks Ltd. in Winchester is seeking a Chef De Partie for a fast-paced school kitchen. The role is full-time, permanent, 40 hours per week, with a 5 over 7 days pattern in term-time and 52 weeks contracts where applicable.

You will cook with fresh seasonal ingredients, contribute to bespoke menus, and showcase your culinary skills while maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen at CDP or junior sous chef level.
• Work with fresh seasonal ingredients and bespoke menus.
• Creative and able to showcase culinary skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team of chefs to provide catering services to pupils and staff.
• Prepare food from scratch using fresh ingredients following brand standards.
• Ensure food hygiene and safety policies and allergen controls are followed.
• Maintain portion control and minimize wastage.
