Job summary

Thomas Franks Ltd. is seeking a Chef De Partie for a Monday to Friday role at one of our Ascot locations. The role suits someone with experience in a fast-paced kitchen, comfortable with fresh seasonal ingredients and bespoke menus.

You will join a team delivering breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a focus on quality, consistency and waste control, in a supportive school catering environment. Salary £25,000 p.a., 40 hours weekly, full-time, permanent.

Qualifications

• You will have a genuine interest in food and excellent customer service.
• You will be an all-round team player with a passion for great food.
• You will be organised with attention to detail and cost awareness.
• Experience in fast-paced kitchen at CDP or junior sous level is desirable.
• Knowledge of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Work well in a team of chefs to cater for pupils and teachers.
• Produce food from fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch to brand standards.
• Adhere to food standards and control wastage.
• Follow all hygiene, safety and allergen control procedures.
