Cover Supervisors Needed in Liverpool!

Are you a compassionate and dedicated professional with a passion for supporting young people?

We are looking for Cover Supervisors to work across a variety of schools in the Liverpool area, covering postcodes such as L1, L2, L3, L4, L7, L8, L9, L14, L16, L17, and surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience in a school environment with a pay rate of £90-£95 per day.

The Role and Your Duties:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing a classroom in the absence of the regular teacher. Your main duties will include:

  • Supervising students and ensuring they complete pre-set work.
  • Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Responding to any questions or issues from students and providing support.
  • Reporting back to the regular teacher on class progress and any incidents.
  • Upholding school policies and procedures.

Skills and Qualifications:

We are seeking individuals with a genuine passion for education and a caring approach. To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience working with children or young people, ideally in a school setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and staff.
  • Excellent behaviour management skills and the ability to command a classroom with confidence.
  • Adaptability and resilience to handle a variety of situations and age groups.
  • A positive, professional, and proactive attitude.
  • A valid DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
