What skills and experience we’re looking for

Full Time, Temporary 1 year. We are a flexible recruiter, let us know what you are looking for.

Grade 5, NJC points 6‑9. (£25,989 – £27,254) pro rota Term Time. Required from January 2026.

Responsibilities

To supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher under the guidance of teaching/senior staff, including implementing work programmes, managing pupil behaviour and assisting pupils in relevant activities in line with the school’s policies and procedures.

When not supervising teaching classes, you will undertake teaching assistant duties within our SEND department under the direction of the SENDCO/Assistant SENDCO.

Qualifications & Expectations

We are seeking a self‑motivated, flexible candidate to take on the role of cover supervisor. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with young people and has the confidence to deliver lessons in an engaging way to motivate our students during a teacher’s absence.
