Qualifications

• Experience in Technical Authoring.
• Strong proficiency in authoring tools.
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
• Engineering experience with knowledge of standards.
• Must have supervisor experience.

Responsibilities

• Make Technical Publications decisions for customer requirements.
• Fulfil operating, maintenance and support requirements agreed with the customer.
• Research and originate new and amended textual data.
• Compile data to produce deliverables.
• Provide help and direction to less experienced team members.
• Manage own Technical Publications work package.
• Supervise less experienced members of the team.

Skills

Technical Authoring

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office/Authoring tools

Excellent standard of written and spoken English

Engineering knowledge/experience

Good understanding of engineering standards and processes

Ability to turn technical information into easily understood text

Supervisor experience

Technical Authoring in an engineering environment

Writing in a structured environment
