Job summary

A staffing agency is seeking candidates to work with concrete products in a production environment in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. The role involves moving stock using forklifts and operating various machinery including presses and shot blast equipment. Applicants should ideally hold a counterbalance forklift license and have experience in a similar environment, although this is not essential. Flexible shift patterns including days and nights are available at £15 per hour.

Job details

Shift patterns: 8h, Days, Nights, PM.

Location: St Ives, Cambridgeshire.

Pay: £15 per hour.

Shift schedule
  • Week 1 – Monday and Tuesday Days 06:00 – 18:00; Wednesday off; Thursday and Friday Nights 18:00 – 06:00.
  • Week 2 – Wednesday to Friday Days 06:00 – 18:00.
  • Week 3 – Monday‑Wednesday Nights 18:00 – 06:00.
Duties
  • Work with concrete products.
  • Move stock around the plant using forklift.
  • Operate press machinery.
  • Use hand‑powered tools.
  • Operate shot blast machinery.
Skills required
  • Previous experience of working in a busy production/machinery environment is preferred but not essential.
  • Current counterbalance forklift licence.
