Counter Terrorism Security Advisor – Protect and Prepare – Police Staff – Counter Terrorism Policing SE

Salary range: £40,345 per annum, increasing to £46,075 when fully accredited

Contract Type: Full Time

Band/Rank: TVP Broad Band 3H

About the role:

The role of Counter Terrorism Security Advisers (CTSAs) is to provide counter terrorism protective security advice and awareness training to venues, public spaces, hazardous sites, critical national infrastructure, and individuals.

You will conduct security assessments to national standards for relevant sites and sectors, provide specialist advice, and recommend measures to reduce vulnerability. You will also ensure compliance with statutory obligations under the Anti-Terrorism Crime and Security Act 2001 regarding security of designated pathogens and toxins, as well as the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2010.
