Job summary

Howdens Joinery is seeking a Counter Sales Warehouse Person to support trade customers on the depot counter and keep the warehouse organised and ready for collection or delivery.

You’ll build customer relationships, explain products clearly, and help drive sales while maintaining stock accuracy and a safe environment. Benefits include a competitive salary, generous leave and pension contributions, plus staff incentives.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, retail or customer service.
• Able to deliver excellent customer service and drive sales.
• Confident communicator with good organisational skills.
• Good literacy, numeracy and time management.

Responsibilities

• Selling the full range of products and services.
• Processing orders, providing pricing and quotations.
• Managing delivery expectations and supporting the depot.
• Unloading deliveries and maintaining stock accuracy.
• Contributing to health and safety and stock checks.
