General Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet customers, provide information about products or services, and handle enquiries and complaints politely and efficiently.
- Sales & Transactions: Process customer orders, handle cash and card payments, and operate the till and other payment systems.
- Work Area Maintenance: Keep the counter area, displays, and other service areas clean, tidy, and well-stocked.
- Stock Management: For trade counters, this includes checking in deliveries, restocking shelves, and monitoring stock levels to prevent loss.
Ideally a qualified dispenser or counter assistant but training will be provided if not the case.
