Job summary

An educational support agency in Birmingham is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Core Subjects Tutor to provide tailored 1:1 or small group tutoring sessions in Maths, English, and Science. Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored 1:1 or small group tutoring sessions in Maths, English, and/or Science
• Support students from KS3 to KS4 with curriculum content, exam preparation, and confidence building
• Assess students' needs and progress, and adapt teaching methods accordingly
• Maintain communication with parents/guardians and provide regular feedback
• Create an encouraging, inclusive, and positive learning environment

What We're Looking For

• Strong subject knowledge in Maths, English, and/or Science (up to GCSE or equivalent)
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience (formal or informal)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Organised, punctual, and dependable
• QTS or degree preferred but not essential
• DBS check required / Willingness to undergo background check
