Job summary

Barclays is seeking a Customer Service Advisor to join the Core Money Management team in Glasgow on a temporary basis with the potential to become permanent. The role offers 35 hours per week, with a 4–6 week initial training period followed by academy training in the Glasgow office.

After training, the position moves to a hybrid pattern combining office and remote work, with a rotational shift 7 hours daily between 7am–11pm, Monday to Sunday.

Qualifications

• No banking experience required.
• Experience in a contact centre preferred.
• Strong integrity, communication and empathy for customers.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across multiple digital channels to personalise each interaction with a customer.
• Enhance the bank's digital capabilities when current technology is identified as not yet ready to support.
• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving issues and handling client requests efficiently.
• Support internal stakeholders including sales, operational, and risk management teams to meet client needs and ensure timely transactions.
• Support teams within the business operations function including risk management, compliance and collections.
• Comply with all regulatory requirements and internal policies related to customer care.
• Provide resolutions for customer queries/issues and personalise interactions across multiple channels.
