Holmes Care Group LTD is hiring a Cook to prepare varied, nutritious meals for residents while accommodating dietary restrictions. You will ensure cleanliness, assist with menu planning, and support the kitchen team in a regulated environment.

The role requires prior cook experience and relevant Food Hygiene Certificates, with a focus on upholding high food safety standards in a care setting. Scotland-based facility with permanent, full-time opportunities.

Formación

• Experience working as a Cook with dietary requirements.
• Hold relevant qualifications and Food Hygiene Certificates.
• Awareness of food safety regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Produce varied, tasty menus for residents while considering dietary needs.
• Provide special diets where necessary.
• Clean and wash up after meals and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
• Prepare and serve meals.
• Guide and coach the kitchen team.
• Stock control; stock replenishing/ordering.
• Manage Food Health and Safety requirements and keep documentation up to date.

What does the day of a Cook look like?

• Producing varied, tasty menus for our residents, whilst also considering individual dietary requirements
• To provide special diets where necessary
• Cleaning and washing up after meals and ensuring the overall cleanliness of the kitchen
• Preparing and serving meals
• Guiding and coaching the kitchen team
• Stock control; stock replenishing/ordering
• Managing Food Health and Safety requirements, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and up to date

To be considered for this role you will need to have experience working as a Cook, with the ability to accommodate a variety of dietary requirements. In addition, we expect you to hold all the relevant qualifications and Food Hygiene Certificates, and that you are aware of all the relevant regulations.
