Overview

Trust has a great opportunity for an experienced Cook to join our team at 200 Abercromby Street, Calton, Glasgow City G40 2RZ on a permanent part-time contract of 21 hours (average) per week.

We are looking for a skilled Cook to prepare delicious meals according to the menu.

Responsibilities
  • Plan menus and assist with ordering and preparing ingredients.
  • Work alongside the catering assistant to support service delivery.
  • Keep the kitchen organised and running efficiently, following food handling, sanitation, and storage procedures.
  • Move around the kitchen efficiently and multi-task as needed.
What we offer
  • 21 hours average per week on a 2 week rolling rota: Week 1 Mon, Tue, Sat, Sun; Week 2 Wed, Thu, Fri
  • 10:30 to 17:30 (1 hour unpaid break)
  • Competitive hourly rate of £13

Qualifications and requirements

  • We can only accept candidates residing in the UK who already have the right to work documents; all applicants must already hold the legal right to work in the UK and may need to provide evidence if successful.
  • Unfortunately, we are unable to offer sponsorships for international applicants or candidates currently working in the UK on a sponsored visa, as we are unable to assist with renewal upon expiry.
