Law Staff Ltd in Hertfordshire is seeking a Conveyancing Lawyer (Solicitor/Legal Executive/Licensed Conveyancer) with 5+ years of residential conveyancing experience. You will manage a varied caseload, provide expert advice, and liaise with clients, agents, and lenders to ensure timely completions.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor of England & Wales, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer or paralegal from 5+ years experience handling a full range of residential conveyancing matters.
• Strong understanding of conveyancing law and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in using conveyancing software and other legal technology.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity.
• Provide expert legal advice and support to clients on all aspects of the conveyancing process.
• Conduct thorough due diligence, including property searches, title checks, and reviewing contracts.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in the conveyancing process to ensure smooth and timely transactions.
• Prepare and draft necessary legal documents and correspondence.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions and client communications.
• Experience of mentoring more junior fee earners would be beneficial
