Law Staff Legal Recruitment Ltd is seeking a dedicated Conveyancing Lawyer to join a firm offering real career progression in a friendly, focused environment. The role involves handling a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion, with opportunities to mentor junior fee earners.

The successful candidate will be a Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, Licensed Conveyancer, or Paralegal with 2–8 years PQE, and possess strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor, legal executive, or licensed conveyancer with 2–8 years PQE in residential conveyancing.
• Strong knowledge of conveyancing law and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing from instruction to completion.
• Provide expert legal advice to clients on the conveyancing process.
• Conduct due diligence: searches, title checks and contract reviews.
• Liaise with clients, agents, lenders and other parties to ensure smooth transactions.
• Prepare and draft legal documents and correspondence.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and communications.
• Mentoring junior fee earners is desirable.

Key Responsibilities for the Conveyancing Lawyer role

• Managinga varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity.
• Provide expert legal advice and support to clients on all aspects of the conveyancing process.
• Conduct thorough due diligence, including property searches, title checks, and reviewing contracts.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in the conveyancing process to ensure smooth and timely transactions.
• Prepare and draft necessary legal documents and correspondence.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions and client communications.
• Experience of mentoring more junior fee earners would be beneficial

Qualifications and Experience for this Conveyancing Lawyer role

• Qualified Solicitor of England & Wales, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyanceror paralegal from 2-8 years PQEhandling a full range ofresidential conveyancing matters.
