Job summary

Law Staff Limited invites applications for a Conveyancing Lawyer to manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion. You will provide expert legal advice and conduct due diligence, title checks, and contract reviews with minimal supervision.

The role requires a qualified solicitor or equivalent with 2+ PQE, excellent communication, and proficiency with conveyancing software. Office-based with probationary flexibility on offer.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor of England & Wales or equivalent with at least 2 years of PQE in residential conveyancing.
• Experience across sales, purchases, re-mortgages and transfers of equity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing from instruction to completion with minimal supervision.
• Provide expert legal advice to clients on conveyancing matters.
• Draft and prepare documents; conduct property searches and title checks.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other parties to ensure timely transactions.

Key Responsibilities for the Conveyancing Lawyer role

• Managing a varied caseload with minimal supervision of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity.
• Provide expert legal advice and support to clients on all aspects of the conveyancing process.
• Conduct thorough due diligence, including property searches, title checks, and reviewing contracts.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in the conveyancing process to ensure smooth and timely transactions.
• Prepare and draft necessary legal documents and correspondence.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions and client communications.
• Any commercial property experience would be an advantage

Qualifications and Experience for this Conveyancing Lawyer role:

• Qualified Solicitor of England & Wales, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer or paralegal from 2 years + PQE handling a full range of residential conveyancing matters with minimal supervision
• Strong understanding of conveyancing law and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in using conveyancing software and other legal technology.
