Job summary

Law Staff Legal Recruitment is seeking a Conveyancing Lawyer (solicitor, Legal Executive or licensed Conveyancer) for a Hertfordshire firm offering real career progression in a friendly, focused environment with free parking.

You will manage varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to completion, provide expert advice, conduct due diligence, liaise with clients, agents and lenders, and draft documents.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor, Legal Executive, or licensed conveyancer with 5+ years' residential conveyancing experience.
• Strong knowledge of conveyancing law and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency with conveyancing software and legal tech.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion.
• Provide expert legal advice and support to clients on all aspects of the conveyancing process.
• Conduct thorough due diligence, including property searches, title checks, and reviewing contracts.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in the conveyancing process.
• Prepare and draft necessary legal documents and correspondence.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions and client communications.
• Experience of mentoring more junior fee earners would be beneficial

Key Responsibilities for the Conveyancing Lawyer role

• Managinga varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity.
• Provide expert legal advice and support to clients on all aspects of the conveyancing process.
• Conduct thorough due diligence, including property searches, title checks, and reviewing contracts.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in the conveyancing process to ensure smooth and timely transactions.
• Prepare and draft necessary legal documents and correspondence.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions and client communications.
• Experience of mentoring more junior fee earners would be beneficial
