Job summary

Law Staff is seeking a Conveyancing Lawyer to join a busy, supportive team in Greater London. You will manage a varied residential caseload, provide expert client advice, and handle due diligence from instruction to completion.

Proven experience in residential conveyancing, strong communication, and meticulous record-keeping are essential. Bridging Finance exposure is a plus, with salary around £55k+ depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Qualified professional with England & Wales qualification or equivalent.
• Experience handling residential conveyancing matters with minimal supervision.
• Strong knowledge of conveyancing law and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing from instruction to completion.
• Provide expert legal advice to clients on all aspects of conveyancing.
• Conduct due diligence: property searches, title checks, and reviewing contracts.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders and other parties to ensure timely transactions.
• Prepare and draft necessary legal documents and correspondence.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and client communications.
• Commercial property experience would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities for the Conveyancing Lawyer role

• Managinga varied caseload with minimal supervision of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity.
• Provide expert legal advice and support to clients on all aspects of the conveyancing process.
• Conduct thorough due diligence, including property searches, title checks, and reviewing contracts.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in the conveyancing process to ensure smooth and timely transactions.
• Prepare and draft necessary legal documents and correspondence.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions and client communications.
• Any commercial property experience would be an advantage

Qualifications and Experience for this Conveyancing Lawyer role:

• Qualified Solicitor of England & Wales, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyanceror paralegal from 2 years +PQEhandling a full range ofresidential conveyancing matters with minimal supervision
• Strong understanding of conveyancing law and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in using conveyancing software and other legal technology.
