Job summary

Law Staff Ltd is seeking a Conveyancing Lawyer to join a firm offering real career progression in a friendly and focused working environment. You will manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing from instruction to completion and provide expert guidance to clients.

The role requires solid knowledge of conveyancing procedures, excellent communication and meticulous attention to detail, with initial office-based work and potential flexible arrangements after probation.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor of England & Wales, Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer or paralegal with 2-8 years PQE handling residential conveyancing.
• Strong understanding of conveyancing law and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in using conveyancing software and other legal technology.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing transactions from instruction to completion.
• Provide expert legal advice and support to clients on all aspects of the conveyancing process.
• Conduct thorough due diligence, including property searches, title checks, and reviewing contracts.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in the conveyancing process.
• Prepare and draft necessary legal documents and correspondence.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions and client communications.
• Experience of mentoring more junior fee earners would be beneficial.
