I am working with a well-established law firm that is expanding its footprint with a brand-new office in Hastings. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Residential Property Solicitor (3+ years PQE) to play a key role in shaping and developing this new branch from the ground up.

The Role

The successful candidate will be joining as a standalone fee earner, with the opportunity to grow the office and team as work levels increase. This is a fantastic career move for someone who enjoys autonomy, client interaction, and being actively involved in business development.

You will handle a broad range of residential conveyancing matters, including:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • Re-mortgages
  • Transfers of equity
  • New build transactions
  • Other general residential property work

As the office grows, the role will evolve to include managing support staff and handling approximately 25–30 new files per month with administrative assistance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion
  • Building strong client relationships through excellent communication and service delivery
  • Assisting with the growth and development of the new Hastings office
  • Participating in local networking and business development initiatives
  • Maintaining high professional and compliance standards
