Controls Engineer - PLC Programmer

This company design and manufactures factory automation solutions and robotic assembly machinery for a range of manufacturing sectors such as medical, automotive and food.

PLC programming experience is required.

The Role

• Write the software for the Omron PLC, HMI, program Fanuc robots
• Develop the control systems from the concept stage through to the final detailed stage
• Working with project leader in planning, organising and managing meetings with the customer
• Specifying and purchasing components
• Assist with the preparation and compilation of manuals
• 37.5 hours per week, early finish Fridays

Requirements

• Proven ability to write PLC software
• Robot programming experience or automated machinery
• Suitably qualified engineer
• You must already live locally to South Birmingham Package
