Job summary

Arvato is seeking a Control Tower Operator at our Wellingborough site to monitor daily operations, coordinate workflows, and resolve issues in a fast-paced logistics environment.

You will work in a fully onsite 40-hour week, typically Monday to Friday, with a permanent contract and a salary of up to £30,293.62 per year. The role requires strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills to support service levels and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in a logistics, warehouse, transport, supply chain or environment.
• Experience on WMS SAP - essential.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and other operational systems.
• The ability to analyse information and identify issues quickly.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• A calm and professional approach when working under pressure.
• The confidence to communicate with colleagues at all levels.
• A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily operational activity and performance across the site.
• Coordinate and prioritise workflows to support the smooth running of the operation.
• Identify operational issues, delays and exceptions and take appropriate action within our SAP WMS system.
• Work closely with warehouse, transport, planning and management teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor KPIs and operational data, highlighting trends and areas requiring attention.
• Maintain accurate records and provide clear and timely updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Support the investigation and resolution of operational problems.
• Ensure processes and procedures are followed consistently.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and key stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.
