Job summary

Arvato is seeking a Control Tower Operator for our Wellingborough site. You will monitor and coordinate daily operations, resolving issues and ensuring KPI performance is met. This role requires hands-on experience with SAP WMS and strong collaboration across warehousing, transport and planning teams.

The ideal candidate will be organised, process-driven and calm under pressure, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. On-site, full-time position with standard 40-hour week.

Qualifications

Salary: Up to £30,293.62 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday 13.45pm- 22.15pm

Working pattern: Fully onsite 40 hours per week

Are you organised, analytical and confident working in a fast-paced logistics environment? Arvato is looking for a Control Tower Operator to join our Wellingborough team and play a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly and efficiently.

As a Control Tower Operator, you’ll act as a central point of coordination, monitoring operational activity, identifying issues and working with colleagues across the operation to ensure service levels and customer requirements are consistently achieved.

What you'll be doing:

• Monitor daily operational activity and performance across the site.
• Coordinate and prioritise workflows to support the smooth running of the operation.
• Identify operational issues, delays and exceptions and take appropriate action within our SAP WMS system.
• Work closely with warehouse, transport, planning and management teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor KPIs and operational data, highlighting trends and areas requiring attention.
• Maintain accurate records and provide clear and timely updates to relevant stakeholders.
• Support the investigation and resolution of operational problems.
• Ensure processes and procedures are followed consistently.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and key stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the operation.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive and solution-focused, with excellent attention to detail.

You will ideally have:

• Experience in a logistics, warehouse, transport, supply chain or environment.
• Experience on WMS SAP- essential
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and other operational systems.
• The ability to analyse information and identify issues quickly.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• A calm and professional approach when working under pressure.
• The confidence to communicate with colleagues at all levels.
• A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
