Job summary

Winner Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Shift-based Control Room Support role in Coventry to assist the Control Room Manager with inbound and outbound operations. You will monitor throughput, training, reporting and maintain high standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities include data analysis, resolving client queries, and ensuring accurate sorter operations and gatehouse coordination. Intermediate Excel skills and logistics experience are required for timely, precise reporting.

Qualifications

• Good written and verbal English and maths skills.
• PC literate.
• Experience within logistics and distribution.
• Intermediate-level Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Control Room Manager with inbound/outbound operations, tracking throughputs and performance against targets.
• Create and analyse reports on required aspects of the business.
• Respond to queries from Client Manager.
• Assist with management of Inbound/Outbound Gatehouse and liaise with Shunters and Gatehouse Coordinators.
• Ensure reporting documentation is maintained and delivered on time, including hourly reports.
• Provide sortation training to Warehouse Operatives and Team Leaders.
• Investigate and conclude missed parcel investigations.
• Ensure correct chutes are active on the sorter system and take action if needed.
• Support HS, hygiene and quality audits including risk assessments and safe systems of work.
