Job summary

Clearway Technology in the United Kingdom is seeking a Control Room Operative to monitor CCTV, alarms and respond to incidents, ensuring client assets remain secure. You will also handle incoming calls and deliver courteous, solutions-focused service.

The role offers 4 days on, 4 days off with 12-hour shifts (days/nights) and overtime opportunities. Training, SIA licence funding, and ongoing support are provided to successful candidates.

Qualifications

• Good Customer Service Skills: Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service, including clear communication and problem-solving skills.
• Computer Literacy: A solid working understanding of computers and the ability to navigate relevant software and systems.
• Teamwork: Strong teamwork skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Flexibility: Willingness and flexibility to work nights, days, and weekends as per the roster.
• Security Clearance: Successful completion of a security clearance check is a mandatory requirement.
• Education: GCSE or equivalent qualifications are preferred.
• Continuous Learning: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and security protocols.
• Valid SIA Public Space Surveillance Licence (CCTV): A valid CCTV SIA licence is required for this role. Clearway Technology will fund the course and licence fees for successful candidates.
• Be fluent in spoken and written English.
• Excellent attention to detail and observation skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactive Monitoring: Actively monitor incoming CCTV, Intruder, and Fire Alarms to ensure timely and appropriate responses.
• Answering Incoming Phone Calls: Handle incoming phone calls with professionalism and efficiency.
• Providing excellent customer service to clients.
• Produce accurate reports as required.
