Job summary

First Response Group in Leeds is hiring a Control Room Operator to monitor CCTV, respond to real-time events, and ensure the safety and efficiency of operations across all sites.

You will handle telephone and email enquiries, work with the Control Room Team on daily operations, maintain the employee tracking and scheduling system, and compile incident reports for management and clients. Must have CCTV Licence and be able to commute to Leeds, with day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Must provide a full 5-year employment and/or education history with addresses and landline contact details.
• Must hold a CCTV Licence.
• Exceptional attention to detail with accuracy.
• Punctual, reliable, adaptable, and professional in appearance.
• Strong written and verbal communication with colleagues and customers.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to telephone and email enquiries from colleagues and customers.
• Collaborate with the Control Room Team to maintain clear, ongoing communication on daily operations and service updates.
• Monitor and manage the employee tracking and scheduling system with data accuracy and timely updates.
• Compile and deliver accurate incident and operational event reports to management and clients.
• Complete documentation efficiently and escalate issues in a timely manner.
• Liaise with all departments to support seamless operations and cross-functional coordination.
• Utilise FRG systems to carry out daily tasks and support control room operations.
